Best Coffee Shops in American Fork

If you're looking for a great cup of coffee in American Fork, you're in luck. This city has some solid spots where you can grab your caffeine fix before heading to work, meeting up with friends, or just taking a break from your day. I've tried a bunch of places around here, and I wanted to share my favorites with you. Whether you need a quick espresso or a cozy place to hang out for a while, these shops have you covered. And if you're dealing with tension from long workdays or just need to unwind, the dependable massage therapists at Body Balance Massage are right here in town to help you feel your best.

The Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop on 500 East has become one of my go-to spots. The name might be simple, but the vibe is anything but basic. They have this warm, inviting atmosphere with communal tables and a cozy lounge area that's perfect for working on your laptop or catching up with a friend. Their coffee quality is consistently good, and I appreciate that they actually care about what they're serving. The staff here knows what they're doing, and you can tell they take pride in their craft. Whether you're grabbing a quick drink or settling in for a few hours, this place delivers.

Beany's To Go

Beany's has been serving American Fork since 2007, and there's a reason they've stuck around this long. Their drive-through is incredibly efficient, which is clutch when you're running late for work. But if you have time, the Vineyard location is worth visiting for the atmosphere alone. They offer way more than just coffee, their B2G Energy Drinks and white coffee options give you some creative alternatives if you're not feeling a traditional brew. The staff here is always friendly, and their seasonal lattes are legitimately good. I've tried their cold brew multiple times, and it never disappoints.

Beans & Brews Coffee House

You'll find Beans & Brews near Costco on West 500 North. It's a reliable chain, but this location does it right. They open early (5:30 AM on weekdays), which is perfect if you need coffee before most places are even awake. The drive-thru makes it convenient, but they also have solid seating inside if you want to stay for a bit. Their food menu is decent too, more than just pastries. Sometimes you just need a place you can count on, and this is that place.

Guayoyo Café (Pleasant Grove)

Okay, this one's technically in Pleasant Grove, but it's only about 10 minutes from American Fork, and it's absolutely worth the short drive. Guayoyo is a Venezuelan café that brings something completely different to the area. Their specialty coffees are incredible—try the El Bombón if you like something sweet and robust, or go for their coffee flight if you want to sample a few options. The empanadas here are world-class (the mushroom and goat cheese one is a must), and the whole place has this warm, welcoming feel that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The owners clearly put their heart into this place, and it shows.

Porch Coffee (Lehi)

Porch Coffee operates out of a coffee trailer on Main Street in Lehi, and it's bringing some seriously good vibes to the area. They use locally roasted Caffe Ibis beans, and their matcha is smooth and balanced—not overly sweet like some places make it. Even though they're working out of a trailer while their storefront is being built, the quality hasn't suffered at all. It's a short drive from American Fork, and the americano I had there was one of the smoothest I've tried in the area.

Recharge Your Body at Body Balance Massage

Spending your days running around to coffee shops and working long hours? Your body's probably feeling the strain. Body Balance Massage at 366 S 500 E St suite b in American Fork has been helping people deal with exactly that kind of wear and tear since 2019. What makes them different is their commitment to actually solving your pain problems, not just offering temporary relief that wears off by the next day. Their licensed therapists specialize in deep tissue massage, cupping, warm bamboo treatments, and techniques like Gua Sha and trigger point therapy that get to the root of stubborn muscle tension.

They've also got float therapy in open-air pools where you can drift weightlessly in Epsom salt water while your muscles decompress.
